Red Shirt ?-1925

Red Shirt (OGLE LUTA) was born on "Platte River" in a village near Fort Fetterman (Wyoming), in Wagluhe (Loafers) band, Oglala subdivision of Sioux Tribe.
He wasn't at theLittle Big Horn during the famous battle though he was often associated with chief Three Bears band.
He was always a peace-chief, and he participated in 1870 and 1880 at two delegations in Washington.
He officially became a chief in 1878 at Pine Ridge Agency.
In 1887 he joined in Buffalo Bill's "Wild West Show" and also visited Europe with the show. He died in 1925.
